3 Maker Business Topics I am Exploring Right Now

There are 3 topics I am actively thinking about a lot these days:

Topic #1: Effective Email Marketing

I am interested in effective email marketing because, while I don't love most newsletters, I believe it will become the platform that businesses need to rely on in the coming years..

And my hope is that over the next year, as I continue to learn more and more, I'll be able to not only create effective newsletters of my own (yes, multiple), but help other Makers create their own effective newsletters.

Topic #2: Creator Small Business Growth

I first got interested in creator small business growth in 2017.

I saw all these creators on YouTube running businesses and since then, I have learned a lot about the importance of naming and claiming your narrow niche, consistently posting content, and focusing on speed rather than getting it "perfect."

Topic #3: AI

I also have an interest in learning more about AI, specifically how it can be effectively leveraged for creators and what to avoid with it (like having it do all your writing for you).

It's one of those fun rabbit holes I find myself exploring simply because I enjoy it.
